Hello to those that have known me for years and to those that are new! I. Am. Back. I have missed you and this outlet. My life has been such a whirlwind that my website and blog took a back burner, but I came to the realization that it is here that I enjoy sharing my passion about fitness, health and raising little girls most. So here I am – same website name but new design. It is still me – but with a few updates. 😊
My husband and I were married earlier this year and had our ceremony/honeymoon at an all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico this summer. It was breathtaking scenery, the most delicious food I have ever tasted, romantic, and a much needed relaxing few days together. Together we have five, yes FIVE, daughters – 11, 9, 7, 7, and 1 years old. We had known each other for years but that is a story for another time. He and I both work full time, purchased our house this year and the (4 of them) girls all start a new school next week.
There may be some of you that have a busier life than me – and to you I applaud, salute, sympathize and admire. There are some of you with less children/piranha-mouths to feed who are shaking their head at the mere idea of more on your plate. To you – I agree. Keep your plate. Enjoy it. Don’t get crazy. I laugh when I say ‘we have five’ because I still cannot believe it. But I love my husband and all of our girls and I tell him they will take care of us someday, right?
To all of you - to us - know that your job as a parent is not easy, it is the biggest job you will ever have, the most rewarding. To those that may not have children but are busting their butts on the path to their whatever their goals may be – I applaud you as well. The world is your oyster – go get it. If you want to borrow some kids just let me know.
I am here and I am SO VERY EXCITED! It is in this spot that I find my sanity by sharing my trials and tribulations as a full-time working woman, a mother to 5, a wife, a daughter and sister, a personal trainer, and someone trying to be in the best health of my life and hit my fitness goals.
